During his recovery journey he met several Navy Seals who were stationed in the Valley during his accident. To thank the Navy Seals and their families as well as create awareness for the men and women who serve the country he has formed the Wounded Warrior Support Team. In a recent article Andy Wirth was announced as the president and chairman of the RASC. This organization promotes air traffic into Reno Tahoe Airport but also continually identifies additional flights.

The Navy Seals and their stories of life ensured Andy Wirth’s return back to full health after his tragic accident. Their will for life and ability to adapt gave Andy Wirth the will for life.
